Application

The AI-80 is a stand alone unit intended for test of caller ID displays. The complete test setup is made on a computer and loaded to the AI-80. Up to 99 different programs can be loaded and recalled.

Description

Features available to all hardware platforms:

Ring detection and simulation of off hook.

The TrsSim software provides PSTN emulation, which includes:

  • Feed Voltage 48V DC
  • Feed current 26mA or 45mA
  • Impedance 600ohm, 900ohm or optionaly complex impedance
  • Dial tone generation
  • Pulse dialling detection and timing analysis
  • DTMF dialling detection and freq/level analysis
  • Network tone generation (such as ring back and busy)
  • Programmeable Ringing
  • Caller ID type I and II generation

SMS Short Message Service Service Center Emulation:

  • Support for both protocol 1 and 2 under DES/AT-030009
  • Support ETSI TS 100901 and ES 20 19 12
  • Measures acknowledge tone frequency and level for type II Caller ID
  • Message origination from either SM-TE or SM-SC
  • Captured FSK Message contents
  • Programmable SM timers and FSK timing
  • Programmable physical layer FSK parameters
  • Programmable response to failure conditions
  • Forced failure condition for TE response testing

General:

  • Windows 98/2000 operating system
  • Scripting language to automate multiple test scenarios

The AI-80 is calibrated according to our ISO 9001 procedures and a calibration certificiate valid for 1 year is supplied together with the instrument.
